ETROD ist ein Online-Format, das im Jahr 2020 ins Leben gerufen wurde. Jeden Monat laden wir eine*n Wissenschaftler*in ein, um eine aktuelle Arbeit (z. B. einen Aufsatz (Entwürfe), ein Buchkapitel oder etwas anderes) zu diskutieren, die im Zusammenhang mit unseren Themen steht. Es handelt sich bei ETROD eher um einen Dialog als um ein Standard-Präsentationsformat handelt. Deshalb verteilen wir die Papers im Voraus und ermutigen unser Publikum, sich nach einem Beitrag des Autors an einem Gespräch zu beteiligen. Auf diese Weise zielt ETROD darauf ab, Konzepte zu präzisieren und sich kritisch mit Theorien und Methoden im Zusammenhang mit Ressourcen und De-/Resourcifizierungsprozessen sowie den Bedingungen und Folgen der aktuellen Ressource Transitions auseinanderzusetzen.
